REGISTERING WITH JAZZ SERVICES

PLEASE NOTE: only musicians, tutors, promoters and other music industry services need register if they wish to create a public record in the Directory and add their contact details. There is no need to register if you are a jazz lover looking for a gig in your area, a tutor for your instrument, or a band to play at your wedding.  The Directory is free to browse at your leisure.  To simply receive Jazz Services news and updates, please join our mailing list.

 

 

If you would like to register on the Jazz Services database, please email our Communications Manager John Lyons ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with your choice of username and any personal or contact info you'd like added (address, telephone, email).  

You'll also need to choose which fields apply to you - Musician, Promoter, Tutor, Organisation, Service (e.g. PR, distribution, etc.) or Media.  You'll then be able to edit and update these sections when you log on (when editing, the 'Publish' option denotes whether the section appears in a website search).

Your account will be set up with your chosen username and a default password which we will send you.  You can then log in and edit your password and personal info as you see fit.  If you've forgotten or lost your login info, please let us know - passwords and usernames can be reset at your request.

Once you are registered, your entry will appear in the database and be searchable on the Jazz Services website Directory (unless you request your entry and contact details to be private).  

If you have a public listing, please help us improve the accuracy of the system for other users by ensuring your details are up to date.

If you’re registering a new band, you'll need to register yourself first (see above).  Please also email John with the following info on the band, or as much of it as you can:

• Band name
• Styles
• Do you perform functions?
• Do you perform workshops?
• Band biography
• No. of gigs per year
• Band line-up (person/instrumentation - it helps if the band's members are also registered on the database)
