Rural Touring Support Scheme 2012
The Rural Touring Support Scheme is similar to our National Touring Support Scheme, and helps fund bands to go on the road. However, unlike, the National scheme, the Rural one focuses on smaller local venues in areas less well served by a touring arts scene. Jazz Services works in conjunction with the National Rural Touring Forum, whose pool of nationally distributed rural promoters are then able to arrange a tour in their area with the successful applicants. Recording Support Scheme 2012
This summer Jazz Services opened up the applications for our Recording Support Scheme again - geared towards giving newer, up-and-coming bands a helping hand with their first recording, the scheme originally helped create eight albums from a range of great artists in its initial incarnation. This second time around, the scheme was even more popular than before, and while we don't unfortunately have the resources to fund everyone who applies, we're nonetheless proud to be able to help the following eight bands get off the ground.
