About the Recording Support Scheme
Jazz Services re-opened its Recording Support Scheme in the summer of 2012 after an initial success of the previous funding period, where we received funding from Arts Council England to record eight bands over two years. For details of the impressive outcomes of the original scheme, see our Previous Recordings page The scheme offers support for bands wishing to record their first album. We hope that future incarnations of the scheme will extend beyond this, but at present it is geared towards giving up-and-coming groups a helping hand at the start of their careers.
