We're delighted to hear that the NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) will be appearing on BBC One's flagship magazine programme The One Show tonight, as part of the channel's coverage of the annual BBC Proms.
NYJO will be performing at this year's Proms on 10th August (Prom #38), playing a selection of jazz classics as well as premiering a new composition by saxophonist and composer Tim Garland, who will be featured with the band.
As if this wasn't enough, the NYJO nonet will perform live on BBC Radio 3's In Tune show this Friday 13th July, broadcast live from the Royal College of Music as part of the Proms' official Opening Night.
