Applications are welcomed as of today (13th August 2012) for the 2013 Made In The UK concert series. The series is organised by international promoters ESIP, and offers UK jazz artists performance slots at the Rochester International Jazz Festival in the USA and in Canada at a selection of high-profile festivals, as well as affording them the opportunity to book their own concerts across the pond in the same period.
Jazz Services and the Scottish Jazz Federation (in association with Creative Scotland) are both working alongside ESIP to put forward bands and artists for the 2013 series, which will take place next summer. If you're interested in applying, check out the International Showcases and Made In The UK pages of the site and follow the instructions.
You'll need to send an electronic press kit through to our Touring, Recording and International Manager along with a statement of intent outlining what you hope to achieve by taking part in the series, and remember that the application period closes on 30th September 2012. Good luck!
