Kwartet's music grew organically from Tim and Tony's adventures with the West London Musician's cooperative, WayOutWest and out of the closeness of their musical friendship, in which Milo Fell (drums) and Pat Bettison (bass guitar) have also played an important part. It also reflects their shared passions for music which has strong development. The contemporary feel of the band's output embraces euro-roots to the American song book, its identity residing in the playing, rather than the categories. http://tonywoods1.wordpress.com/project/ Tim Whitehead first received recognition when he won the Greater London Arts Young Jazz Musician's Award in the 70's with his band, South Of The Border.
