Dan is an exciting new guitarist with a growing reputation for both his great sound and refinement of the guitar and his fresh, exciting and fluid compositions. His work is deeply rooted in a variety of traditions, all focused and evokingimpressions of landscape,space and beauty. "Indigo Kid" is his first release, guided and produced by Iain Ballamy. He has also played with Steve Waterman, Geoff Simkins, Kevin Figes, Nia Lynn, Lee Goodall, Dave Cliff, Trish Clowes. Renowned in Europe as the "Fantastic Englishman", Ballamy established himself playing alongside notables includingHermeto Pascoal, the late Gil Evans, George Coleman, Dewey Redman, Mike Gibbs and the New York Composers Orchestra. Iain is truly one of the greats. Having met Dan, Iain mentored him and they have gone on to work together to great effect. Tim Harries was a member of Bill Bruford's Earthworks from 1989 to 1993 and Steeleye Span from 1989 to 2001 and has since worked as a session musician for Brian Eno, Katie Melua, Film Composers David Holmes and Stephen Warbeck, writer Alan Moore, on the audio CD version of Moore's comic book novel "Angel Passage" (2001), and others. He can be heard on the soundtracks of films including "Heart" (1999), "Quills" (2000) and "Perrier's Bounty" (2009). Gethin Jones is a fantastic young welsh drummer who has studied at Royal Welsh College and Trinity, he's busy andworking with names such as; Cameron Pierre, Geoff Eales, Steve Waterman, Geoff Simkins, Esmon Selwin, Ben Waghorn, Alex Hutchins and John-Paul Guard.
