"It is important that we continue to take artistic risks with the festival, and invite musicians who are continually moving, steadfastly trying out new material, and entertainers who are not even close to the end of their creative careers. At the same time I would like to preserve the history of the festival, its music and its musicians.
This program should provide an open, completely subjective look at current improvisational music for the time being. It is an offer to experience something "new" while at the same time rediscovering the "old." Overall it is a four day invitation to explore an immensely vital, ever changing musical scene"
