Kenny Baker was led trumpeter for Ted Heath's post-war big band and later led his own bands Baker's Dozen and the Best of British Jazz with fellow Heath alumni Jack Parnell and Don Lusher. Here he is featured in a 1982 performance of Duke Ellington's 'The Shepherd' with Stan Tracey on piano.
