Nominated by individual jazz promoters from across the country, IDST, the John Turville Trio and the Ryan Quigley Sextet, were the three chosen by a panel of experts to receive the Promoter’s Choice Award 2008/9.

They all showcased their talents at the London Jazz Festival in November 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Front Room to a significant mass of jazz fans. Jazz Services are proud to have them represent a broad selection of young British talent who perform original music with allure, power and sophistication.  

Each will receive a Jazz Services’ National Touring Support Scheme grant and can be seen on tour in 2009.
