Biography: Has played with & led The Sound of 17 Big Band since its foundation in 1972 & over the years has presented & accompanied, with the band, several renowned British & American jazz artists. From the early 1970's has founded & organised many successful jazz venues & events including the annual Ealing Jazz Festival. In the process has gained a reputation as an MC. Playing experience includes a wide range of mainstream/modern small bands. Founder member of Jazz Junction, The Leon Calvert Quartet & Four in The Bar.
