Yots (Listings Editor)
Yots was first drawn into the jazz world as a fan of the music and the ethos behind it. She developed her love and respect of jazz further through live performance. As an active singer, Yots has discovered much about the prospects and labour involved in a jazz career. This education was further enhanced by her experience as a promoter. Since 2005, she has been the Musical Director at Octave, a live jazz venue in Covent Garden, and she has been responsible for creating work opportunities in various other venues around London. This experience has given Yots a comprehensive understanding of the live jazz scene, which she brings to the role of Listings Editor.
